Some people criticize Oppo for poor build quality but for those of us on
the lower end of the smartphone budget, Oppo is the best choice for us.
Oppo has produced some of the best smartphones especially with the Oppo
Reno series. Not all Oppo smartphones are the best but if you're on a
very tight budget, in most cases you're not in a point to be choosy.
2020
has seen a lot of devices coming into the smartphone market with huge
specs and cool features. On the other Oppo has also had its fair share
of high-end smartphones. However I decided to make a list of some of the
cheapest Oppo smartphones in the market right for those who are on a
very tight budget.

smartphones may not be exactly as indicated in this post by the time you
read it. They may also vary with location or the mobile store which you
buy the phone from.
1.Oppo A1k - $130
The
Oppo A1K was released back in April 2019. Therefore, you will not have
an excuse that it's an old smartphone. The phone sports a 6.1 inches IPS
LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1560 leaving it with a
pixel density of 282 PPI.
It runs on Android
9.0 out of the box which is a good thing since you might get an update
to android 10.0. The Oppo A1K runs on a Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22
chipset which supports an octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and a PowerVR
GE8320.
The Oppo A1K ships with 32 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of RAM which is actually quite enough for a light smartphone user.
At
the rear, it utilizes a single 8 MP camera with an LED flash. At the
front it sports a 5 MP camera with HDR capability. The cameras are not
the best on the Oppo A1K but they're quite okay considering the price
tag.
The phone is powered by a non-removable Li-po 4000 mAh battery with no fast charging capability and utilizes a MicroUSB 2.0.
2.Oppo A3S - $120
The
Oppo A3S was a bit older as it was released back in July 2018.The phone
sports a 6.2 inches IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x
1520 pixels leaving it with a pixel density of 271 PPI. The phone also
has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection which most people find
favorable.
It on Android 8.1(Oreo) out of the
box with the ColorOS 5.1 launcher. The phone also runs on a Qualcomm
SDM450 snapdragon 450 chipset and an Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU.
For the GPU, the Oppo A3S utilizes an Adreno 506.
It
ships with 32 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of RAM. There's also a 16
GB 2GB RAM and the 64 GB 4 GB RAM variant for you to choose from.
At the rear, the phone sports a dual-camera setup 13 MP + 2MP and a LED flash. At the front, it utilizes a single 8 MP shooter.
The
phone is powered by a Non-removable Li-ion 4230 mAh battery with 20W
fast charging capability. The phones a bit old and so it uses MicroUSB
2.0.
3.Oppo A5S - $140
The
Oppo A5S was released in March 2019. It a really good looking
smartphone by the look of its design and the huge display. The phone
sports a 6.2 inches S-IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x
1520 pixels. This leaves the devices with a total of 271 pixels per
inch.
The phone runs on Android 8.0 out of the
box with the ColorOS 5.2 launcher. It runs on a Mediatek MT6765 Helio
P35 chipset, an Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and a PowerVR GE8320
GPU.
When it comes to memory there are
variants; 32 GB 2GB RAM, 32 GB 3 GB RAM, and a 64GB 4 GB RAM. I would
however recommend the 32 GB 3GB RAM version as it has enough amount of
storage and RAM and it will also reduce your budget a bit.

4.Oppo A31 2020 - $180
The
Oppo A31S was released in February 2020 so it's quite a recent
smartphone. The phone sports a huge 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with a
screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels leaving it with a pixel count of
270 PPI. This is a good smartphone for those who love watching movies or
doing some gaming on their smartphone. The huge display will make your
experience enjoyable.
The phone runs on Android
9.0 out of the box with the ColorOS 6.1 launcher. It runs on a Meditek
MT6765V/CB Helio P35 chipset, an Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and a
PowerVR GE8320 GPU for the graphics.
when it
comes to memory there are 2 variants; 64 GB 4 B RAM and a 128 GB 4 GB
RAM. The 64 GB 4GB version is obviously cheaper and you would be better
off buying that since you're on a budget.
At the rear it sports a quad-camera setup; 12 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP and an LED flash. At the front, the phone utilizes a single 8 MP.

5.Oppo F11 - $200
The Oppo F11 is quite a popular phone especially because of it's huge camera.
The
phone was released back in March 2019. It sports a huge 6.53 inches
LTPS IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340, totaling
its pixel density to 394 PPI.
The phone runs
on Android 9.0 out of the box and the ColorOS 6 launcher. It runs on the
Mediatek MT6771 Helio P70 chipset, an Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU,
and a Mali-G72 MP3.
It has 3 variants; 64 GB 4
GB RAM, 128 GB 4 GB RAM and a 128 GB 6 GB RAM. Just go for the 64 GB 4
GB combination juts to reduce your budget. There's also a microSDXC slot
if you wish to expand your storage. However it is shared so you have to
sacrifice one of your sim cards.
At the rear,
it sports a huge 48 MP main camera + a 5 MP depth sensor and an LED
flash. The rear camera is the best feature of the smartphone as it
captures some really good shots. At the front, it utilizes a single 16
MP camera.
The phone is powered by a

but it has the old MicroUSB 2.0.
6.Oppo A5 2020 - $200
The
Oppo A5 was released in October 2019. The phone sports a 6.2 inches IPS
LCD display with corning gorilla glass 3 protection. The phone has a
screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 270 PPI.
The
phone runs Android 9.0 out of the box with the ColorOS 6.1 launcher. It
utilizes the Qualcomm SDM665 Snapdragon 665 chipset, an Octa-core 1.8
GHz Kryo 260 silver CPU and an Adreno 610 GPU. This is a good
combination if you're going to do some light gaming on the device. The
Adreno graphics are known for their perfect gaming capabilities.
The
phone ships in 3 variants; 64 GB 3 GB RAM, 64 GB 4 GB RAM and a 128 GB 4
GB RAM. Again, the 64 GB 3 GB RAM model is cheaper than the others.
At
the rear, the phone sports a quad-camera setup. The setup houses a 12
MP main camera, 8 MP ultra-wide camera, 2 MP macro shooter, and a 2 MP
depth sensor. At the front, the phone utilizes a single 8 MP shooter.
The
phone is powered by a Non-removable Li-po 5000 mAh battery with the
reverse charging feature. It also has the USB-Type C which is perfect.
Conclusion
As
you can from the above list, there are still some good Oppo smartphones
that you can get without having to struggle to adjust your budget too
much. The Oppo F11, A5, and the A31 2020 are the best cheap Oppo
smartphones in the market right now. They offer good features are at a
very low price.
