How To Make Rajma Chawal.Best Rajma chawal recipe

Rajma chawal or Rajma rice is delicious food in our Indian culture. It has a great combination of carbs and  protein .Rajma has its own benefits . .Rajma Masala is served with Chawal .Ramja are fat free and has many benefits .I have mention below the benefits of Rajma. Rajma in english called as Red Kidney beans.

Rajma recipe 

will give you a delicious and yummy dish-
Ingredients -
1.       1 Cup of  Rajma/Red kidney beans
2.       1 Cup of rice cooked
3.       1 Onion With slice as thin
4.        Tomato sliced
5.       ½ Tbsp of Cumin /Jeera
6.       1 Piece of cinnamon or dalcheni ,powdered
7.       2-3 green chillies chopped
8.       ¼ Tbsp of turmeric powder
9.       ½ Tbsp of Coriander Powder
10.   1 Tbsp of Amchur(dried mango powder)
11.   1 Tbsp of chat masala
12.   2 Tbsp oil
13.   Salt to taste

Follow  Steps by step To cook best Rajma Chawal-
1.Soak the Rajma in enough water for 8-9 hours  so that they become very soft.
2.Drain the water and rinse the Rajma.
3.Cut the veggies
    1.Tomato 2..Onion 3.Garlic 4.Chilly
4.Put All the veggies with Rajma in a pressure cooker
5.Add the spices-Cumin seeds, Red chilly powder, turmeric powder
6.Salt to taste
7. Add 2 cups water(600 ml)
8.Add tbsp oil.
9.Lock the cooker and cook for 20-25 minutes on a high flame.
10.Once the cooker settles down its own ,open the lid and check the beans .It  should be melt in mouth without giving a bite. If the beans are still not cooked then add 2 cups of water and cook again for 5 to 6 whistles as required.
11.Once the Rajmas are boiled well then check the gravy also. If there is some water and tomato floating above then continue in simmer till the gravy gets thick.
12.Add Tbsp amchur or mango powder .
13.Add  ½ Tbsp garam masala
When the consistency of the gravy is  not like water and thick ,now Rajma Masala Gravy is ready.
